Here is a picture of my first design . I was a Junior in High School and always hated all the options I had for prom dresses. I decided to just design my own. I didn't know anything really about construction, textiles but I knew what I wanted. I resourced the best I could. My mom use to sew all our clothes as kids so I knew she would sew it for me I just had to be able to tell her what I wanted. This is the dress and I loved it. After I saw the result of this I realized that this was my passion and I really loved the process.
